DC Community Streetscape Enhancement Project
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT), with funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is working with several communities in the District of Columbia to create new streetscape treatments that will enhance and distinguish the individual neighborhoods. Among the nine communities involved in this project are Hanover, Bloomingdale, Eckington (ANC5C02), Trinidad, Carver Terrace, 14th Street Heights, 17th Street NE & K Street NE, River Terrace, and Brentwood Village.
During the streetscape design process, this web site will provide background information, project contacts and individual community pages with specific details about existing conditions, meeting information and suggested improvements.
